Jeff Freid is Co-Managing Partner of LVKF. Mr. Freid comes to LVKF with over 22 years of experience in the entertainment industry and six years as a labor and employment lawyer representing companies in union and employment matters.
Prior to joining LVKF, Mr. Freid was an EVP of Business & Legal Affairs at MRC and before that SVP and Head of Business Affairs at ABC Signature which he co-founded to establish ABC's first dedicated streaming and premium cable studio to move the company into the streaming era. Mr. Freid began his legal career at the national labor and employment law firm, Fisher & Phillips where he dealt with union matters and claims of harassment and discrimination in the workplace.
Mr. Freid earned his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles where he was on the Dean's List and a member of the Entertainment Law Journal. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin. He was also a member of the prestigious Texas Cowboys service organization. He attended high school locally at Harvard School for Boys (prior to its welcome merger with Westlake).
